A third-generation
construction background.

Built on experience.
Backed by generations.

A new name on the equipment.
A lifetime around the work.

Dirt N Iron Inc. is Matthew Serbu’s independent, owner-operated excavation company. He brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience across heavy equipment, earthworks, civil construction and the energy sector.

As a third-generation member of the Serbu construction family, Matthew grew up around an industry where how you do the work matters. Dirt N Iron carries that practical knowledge forward—with direct owner involvement and modern equipment technology.

Planned with precision.
Finished with pride.

Good information supports good decisions. GPS, laser and grade technology help guide the work—while an experienced operator reads the conditions, anticipates the next step and keeps the whole site in view.

The right support.
Beyond the excavation.

Some projects need more than digging. Dirt N Iron can coordinate trucking, materials and equipment transport through its working relationship with Serbu and Sons.

Independent businesses. Established family connections. Practical support for a more complete scope of work.

Good work starts
before we dig.

A clear scope. A considered plan. The right approach for the ground in front of us.

  1. 01

    Plan the work.

Talk through the scope, sequence, materials and timing so the work fits the bigger picture.

  3. 03

    Move the ground.

Bring experienced operation and modern grade technology to the excavation and earthworks.

  4. 04

    Finish the grade.

Carry the agreed work through to backfill, site shaping and restoration—ready for what comes next.

Let’s talk
